CFA Level 1 Exam Study Plan - It’s All About Planning - Part 3

CFA Level 1 Prep, Phase 3: Wrap It Up and Test In the Water

A normal person will face the dilemma of “study-and-forget”. Don’t panic. Leave yourself one or two weeks at the end of studying  for the second round of re-reading and further practice.

  • 1-2 weeks of studying. Wrap-up. This process will clear up the questions you may have from the first round reading, and build on your current knowledge base.
  • 2 weeks from the test. Now is the time to practice, practice, practice after all your diligent reading. Dive into the practice exams for about 2 weeks; this will put you in the right stat of mind for the exam. Make the practice exams as real as possible and time yourself when you take them. That way there won't be any surprises on test day.
  • This is it. By following this three-stage study plan, you should be feeling very confident  and should not have to worry about passing the exam. Good luck.
